BETT 2012 Wrap up
January 18, 2012 in Featured News
When the Inspector General for the French Ministry of Education walks away from your booth with your company’s product in hand, you can’t help but feel a swell of pride.
The day started out with a rush of people, and Tess and I stayed busy performing one Letters alive® demonstration after another. The crowds were huge and it got to the point where one person just couldn’t manage the mass alone, so we turned into a two-person act. Tess and I are a good team as it is. We work well together. We know each other’s strong points and know when to let the other take the spotlight and when to step in. And so it went for the majority of the day.
But then things started to die down. Around 4:30 p.m. the crowds started to dissipate. And that’s when the French retinue stopped by to examine our wares. Scratch that. That weren’t just there to examine our wares. They were there to take it back home.
Let that sink in for just a moment.
The Ministry of Education of a G8 nation wanted to take Letters alive® back to their country.
But don’t think Logical Choice’s BETT experience stops there. No, resellers from all over the world are interested in Letters alive. At last count, resellers from 13 countries now want to learn more about how they can distribute LA in their homelands. And we’re not just talking one rep from each country. No, multiple resellers are chomping at the bit to take this outstanding product global. To say Christine was handling a steady flow of inquiries (with grace no less) is a bit of an understatement.
So yeah, as I spent my work week on foreign soil, watching the excitement that the company I represented generated almost constantly, I did feel more than a little pride.
